If you’ve ever had anyone you know or any of your family suffer from anything most charities donate for then you will know of the importance that charity makes for these causes.

Some places are in need of any support and anything your community can do to help will dramatically help the facilities and care these places can offer.

Unfortunately the recession has hit charity shops as well as the other high street shops and although charity shops survive on voluntary work, the time available for people to help is as small as it ever has been and some shops are struggling.

It helps build character and gives a better mentality all round. Plus it makes you feel good for being so generous!

It’s never too late to start giving, even if it’s just helping out your local charities with voluntary work.

Next time your in an interview and can make reference to charity work, your employee is guaranteed to be impressed. It will also make you stand out as not many people are going to have the same listings on their CV.

The weather has been great for these recently and no doubt a huge sum of money has been raised thanks to the nations and gift aids support.

Don’t worry if you missed out on these events, it’s never to late to help out your local charities via various fund raising events.

Many charities will struggle to run due to being based on volunteers. I recently watched a great TV show about how a local charity was transformed into a proper business and the amount of donations they could make trebled in size.

The laid back attitude of the volunteers essentially reduced the amount of work being done and a little restructuring got them back on track making noticeable donations and eventually being a bigger part of the charity they were working for.

Plans to carry out the process on a number of other charities around the are have been discussed.

Some would suggest that Europes struggling economy combined with other issues have contributed to a fall in charity proceeds.

Governments have tried to find ways of encouraging the good old spirit, however, with issues of their own, not much has become of it.

Fortunately TV based charity events such as Children in Need still boast record collections which is helping out those less fortunate massively.

With a range of natural disasters of recent, including typhoons and earthquakes, people need your help as much as possible.

Please help out as much as you can!

As Mobile phones physically store the messages and records of them pass through the mobile phone companies there’s always a risk of a phone going missing and getting teenagers between the ages 14-16 in trouble.

There have been a few campaigns on the matter and some schooling boards have tried to educate students on the matter.

As technology gets more advanced and more popular, these cases are only going to become more frequent.

The study conducted last year, found here, correlates working for charity and successful job interviews. As you can see there is a strong correlation and thus one can conclude that the work definitly can help you look for work.

By building character and looking good on your CV, it’s worth thinking about. As discussed in the last article written, theres a selection of charities to pick from locally, which will most likely benefit a lot from any help.
